This week we sat down with Mr. Josh Logan of Guardian Training and Consulting on the Practical Training Podcast.
Josh brings over a decade of Law Enforcement, Military, and practical training experience to the table to discuss his approach and philosophy.
Josh is the first instructor we have had on that uses technology, an understanding of the nervous system, and sports medicine to affect his training; he literally uses a pulse-ox meter during his training to monitor heart rate.
His training belief is that of Bruce Lee's: "A teacher is never a giver of truth; he is a guide, a pointer to the truth that each student must find for himself."
Josh's three fundamentals:
Be a good person; know when to push the envelope and when not to.
The best fight we can have is the one we don't fight at all.
Continue your training; training is not a one time event, it is a journey.
Josh is also one of the instructors that teaches concealed carry training in a state with constitutional carry. We get in to why that matters.
